Students are able to experience internships during their Junior and Senior years. For more information see Mrs. Atkinson as part of the Career and Technical Education(CTE) course workplace skills. CTE INTERNSHIPS (.5 credit for every 40 hours worked up to 2 credits per semester) CTE Internships provide on the job training opportunities that are directly related to a career goal and course of study identified through the CCR. Therefore, a student must have taken or currently be enrolled in a CTE class related to the internship opportunity. This Work-Based Learning experience is designed to bridge the gap between school and work. Appropriate supervision by a school/district coordinator must be maintained.
*this list is not inclusive of all partners, but is a sample of our community partners that have participated internships in the past.
